yes this code was published by a matlab user on mathworks before. The main idea is to compute the euclidian distance between two random points and if it's smaller than a predefined value then, the program draw a line. But what do you mean by wireless connection between nodes in this kind of plots?
the wireless connection between any two nodes will depends on the following
1- Energy communication model
2- the distance between two nodes
3- the pathloss exponent (alpha)
4- the receiver and transmiter circuits and amplifiers
to design a connection we must consider all these parameter in programing
