I'm simulating some problem (fluid flow in a wavy channel) with increasing the Re number and i want to check pressure difference in it.
I need the pressure difference to be increased based on Re increasing.
And when i get results the pressure diff increases based on Re increasing,
But when i make the pressure dimensionless with this equation:
P*=p/((mu*Uin)/L)
The pressure decreases based on Re increasing .
Its because of that the velocity increasing much more than pressure increasing .
And i cant increase the density for increasing the Re.
What can i do in this case?
Generally, pressure gradient into the momentum equation is made non dimensional by the group L/rho*U^2. You can also rewrite that in terms of the Re number but I do not understand you final goal.
If you are computing the non dimensional solution for a certain Re, your dimensional pressure just need to be obtained by multiplicating rho *U^2.

But in creeping flow, it's better to be used the equation of nondimensionalization that i wrote.
But even in your equation there is U and that is the problem,
My U is changing and when i make the pressure dimensionless, the pressure diff decreases based on Re increasing.
I want to know how the pressure diff changes with increasing the Re(U) .

Often when you increase Re, it means that U is increasing. And the non-dimensionalizing approach that you are using contains U in the denominator, so it is normal and logical that increasing the velocity would decrease the pressure.

But before the non-dimensionalization ,the pressure diff increases and this is the opposite.
And when pressure diff increases before non-dimensionalization and decreases after doing it ,,my results are wrong ,right?
