Dear Friends,
I have a big problem defining a Hinge or (pin) joint between 2 separated discrete rigid which are both shell surfaces and one of them should be assembled with the rest single discrete part. I tried to define it by It looks like that does not require any applied meshes on the surfaces belonging to the hinge joint, however, Abaqus could not perform this hinge in my simulation.
I have attached some photos of my simulation as well.
The horizontal surface should also be tied to another surface and the vertical one should be hinged to the horizontal one.
The vertical surface should be always kept perpendicular to the rest of the part and (probably should be tied to that edge upside.)

Try kinematically couple left RP with RP-3 and top RP with RP-4 (or vice versa) using Interaction module: Constraint>Create...>Coupling (all 6 DOFs constrained).
