How to make Polystyrene thin film between the ZnO nanorods?

I am working on a ZnO and polymer based LED. I need to fill the gap between ZnO nanorods by spin coating with polystyrene to make them isolated. I made polystyrene solution and spin coated at 2000 rpm for 30 seconds. The whole surface was covered, and I did Argon Plasma etching to expose the upper part of nanorods but could not get the open part of ZnO nanorods on he top. So, could anybody suggest the good recipe for this? Thanks.

Pralhad - Try ZnO - nanorod growing on quartz substrate using polystyrene monolayer spheres of sizes 600nm to 1500nm by hydrothermal method using oxygen plasma technique. Good Luck.
