Hello dear all,

I am modeling inner bar and outer tube under axial compression loading in the ansys workbrench. Bar is correspond to LINE ELEMENT (beam188), whereas the tube is modeled by SHELL element in the model. A small gap is considered between them.

How to make contact between outer surface of the bar and inner surface of the tube. There, I have used for contact friction/frictionless, but it does not work. What is the problem here?
