Hello Ruohai Hu, In order to help you to solve your problem i need to know in what type of solvent is PEDOT:PSS dispersed, also it seems to me that 200 rpm is a very low for spin coating.

P.D. it maybe apparent to the naked eye that there are no film since the thickness is very small.

Christian Alejandro Ruiz Rojas Thank you, The PEDOT:PSS is dissolved in water at 1.3%. I know that in current works PEDOT:PSS is spined coating at the speed of less than 800 rpm, however, when I'm trying to spin coating it at 800 rpm or even at as slow as 200 rpm, it cannot stand on the substrate. It would be thrown away. It really puzzles me.Thank you.

Dear Ruohai,

you could try to activate your substrate (is it only glass or ITO) by applying plasma treatment. If you don't have this available, try to modify the surface tension and/or the viscosity of your PEDOT:PSS dispersion with an alcohol or a small amount of a high boiling point solvent. Be aware that the addition of the solvents changes the solid content of your dispersion and that it could also affect the stability (-> precipitation of PEDOT:PSS if too much solvent is added). Hi Ruohai,

I agree with Sebastian Marius Raupp . You could try dry cleaning of your substrate before coating the PEDOT:PSS and you may use UV-O3 or plasma treatment process for 2-10 minutes. for Plasma treatment, 2.30 minutes is enough and for UV-O3 treatment you can go up to up to 10 minutes. In your cleaning process, you may include another step of substrate sonication in isopropanol (IPA) after removing from acetone up to 10 minutes.
