How to make a grid of coordinates on the road link in Vissim. Probably Matlab or C programming might be useful but I have no clue about it right now ?

To calculate the lateral clearance of vehicles on road, using the calibrated data on vissim software, a grid of some small square areas may be formed, using which the exact location of the vehicles can be found out. So if anyone have any idea about such programming then please let me know it. Thankyou

To find exact location of the vehicles you can extract vehicle trajectories from VISSIM. It will give you accurate coordinate of the vehicles.
