I intend to use a test scale namely 'Marriage Role Expectation Inventroy', developed by Marie S. Dunn. However, I am not sure , whether it has author's or publisher's copyright. How to know that any scale has author's or publisher's copyright?

Dear Abdul, the copyright should be explicitly given in the source. For example, if you find this text in the book, the copyright is usually given on the first page. If it's not an open access book, usually it's publisher's copyright. Nevertheless, you still can use its content for various purposes. Usually, if it's not for commercial purposes, you only need to give a proper reference to the source.

As far as aforementioned scale is concerned, It was developed by author in 1960 stated that ' Single copies of this inventory may be obtained free, upon request, from Dr. Marie S. Dunn', however, ı could not find either author's or publisher's address on search engines to get consent regarding the measure... İn this situation can this inventory be used for research purpose by giving proper reference source?

Yes, it's correct. If it's for research purpose, and you give the reference, you are OK. This line you mentioned, I think, corresponds to the time when one couldn't find this in Internet
Yes, it seems to me that the risk involved in using the inventory is very low so long as you give due acknowledgement of the source.
