What is the best way to isolate/purify/characterize a conjugate between an antibody and a fluorescent polymer (polymer MW between 70K and 250K)?

I would start with a protein A separation to get rid of all unbound polymer. All other steps are highly dependent on the polymer you used and the fluorescent dye, which is attached. In general, it is advisable to characterize the two compounds separately, before they are conjugated.

Protein A colum is a good idea if that is not possible for some reason gelfiltration column or spin down at 300.000 x g
