When I browse profiles of different researchers I have following paradoxical observations. ( Though the observation is not generalized)
1) researchers with high no of citations but very low reads
2) researcher having very high number of reads but comparatively lesser citations.
How to interpret this observation of number of citation Vs number of reads?
Do you agree that number of citations and number of reads should be linearly proportional?

No. of reads are counted in calculation of some factors of journals. I think they count 100 reads equal to 1 citation.
