Hello! I want to prepare scaffolds for tissue engineering. For in vivo tests I need to preserve the wound dressing from drying. Can you provide some nice idea with coating or additional layer deposition for protection from drying? Any good practical experience?

I would like to prepare the scaffolds for wound dressing using electrospining and subsequent plasma treatment + grafting of biomolecules. All these steps were done, but when I am doing in vivo tests, the PCL nanofibers becomes dry very quickly. So I need somehow to avoid the evaporation of the water from the PCL nanofibers wound dressing. Did someone have performed some treatment to avoid the water evaporation from such scaffolds???
I have some ideas. For example this effect can be avoided (most probably) if one side of the PCL will remain hydrophobic and hinder water permeation from the inner (wound) side. But I would appreciate if someone can share his practical solutions (if any). Citations, refences, ideas, anything..
