How to increase Molecular weight increase in Urea Aldehyde Resin, when i producing urea aldehyde resin all specifications are match but molecular weight is not proper i need 4500-6000 molecular weight but end of the reaction i only get molecular weight 800.

pH and the urea/formaldehyde molar ratio are two factors that can greatly influence molecular weigh of the resin.

Dear Salman Shekh, this is a commercial resin with low MW. To increase the MW you have to use chain extender of diisocyanate type. There is no way to use a free radical source for that, it is a step-grouwth (polycondensation) polymerization. My Regards
