You must ensure all kinds of nutrient (Macro and Micro) with optimum moisture and pest free growth of plant up to reproductive stage .At the reproductive stage (after flowering) optimum dose of N,P, K, S , B, Zn, Mg, must be ensure up to maturity level. Besides proper pollination facilities , vector/pollinator should be ensured for better pollination and fruit setting. At the fiilling stage, Nitrogen and moisture level is very important to grow the seeds up to the mark for attaining size and better viability.

Mycorrhiza help the plants to uptake insoluble Phosphorus available in the soil. As Phosphorus is essential for seed production, rhizospheric application of mycorrhiza is an eco-friendly approach towards the same. I suppose there are references available for mycorrhizal association with cucumber.

To get higher seed seed yield, optimum level of phosphate, zinc, sulfur fertilizer and boron along with organic manure must be ensured for longer time. Besides, other fertilizers viz. potassium, nitrogen, and organic fertilizer should be applied in split doses but less amount in each application. Frequent light irrigation should be provided with required amount of water. Proper plant protection , optimum irrigation, and fertilization might ensure longer fruiting life and higher seed yield in cucurbits
