How to include the effects of matric suction in bearing capacity of unsaturated expansive clay?

Dear All,

I am doing a project titled "the effects of matric suction on bearing capacity of unsaturated expansive clay".

Expansive Clay have zero frictional angle and since the angle due to suction will be zero so the suction stress term the Modified Mohr-Coluomb criteria become zero which means no contribution from suction, but this is not true as suction stress has a significant role in expansive clay kindly suggest any solution.............
