We are facing difficulty in implementing the electrical isolation in coaxial bridge circuits using optical techniques. Coaxial bridge circuit is working at audio frequencies and we are dealing with uV signal. Which kind of optical transmitter-receiver will be suitable for this application?
Could you please provide a sketch of your circuit with indication where the isolation should be located?
Certainly, the easiest way would be to route the amplified and digitized output signals through optocouplers but I guess this is not what you mean.
I recommend using Micro-Cap (http://www.spectrum-soft.com/download/download.shtm). All EE's at Emerson used Micro-cap, even though it cost $4,000 each. There are no other electronic SPICE modeling programs even close to Micro-Cap capability.
