I want to develop an auction based multi-agent communication among multiple processes. I am aware of multi-agent frameworks but my scenario is completely different so i am forced to develop my own. Here, I need your expert Advice. Which language will be best suited for this? Which mechanism do i follow for sending bids from bidder process to auctioneer and vice versa for winner bid? In here, How to enforce synchronization among processes because the whole system is supposed to be synchronized? Thanks in Advance for your Help
The usual approach to designing a multi-agent system acting in a shared scenario (such as an auction) and ensuring that the scenario remains coherent throughout (all agents maintain compatible states) is the use of a choreography.
However I am not sure what you mean by "the whole system is supposed to be synchronized". Standard choreography semantics assumes that the communication between agents is asynchronous, so that the send and receive of a given message between agents are separate events separated in time. Is this true in your action scenario?

There are also many different types of auctions. Some of them lend themselves to the limitations of real computing hardware, others will be difficult to implement faithfully.
The language its coded in is largely irrelevant. Any language supporting shared semaphores and / or IPC could be used. Even assembler language.
If the number of processes ( bidders ) is greater than the number of threads of execution, you have contention and plant the seeds of unequal access to the bidding process.
So in an auction situation where the bidder is assumed to react to the bids of others, that is not strictly possible. Some threads will be occupied bidding, others in assessing the current bid.
And of course the auctioneer - though an auctioneer is not strictly needed if that functionality is driven into the agent.
In a system where you "trust" the agent, the agent could merely perform a semaphore managed atomic update to a highest bid data structure { Agent ID, Bid } which is cooperatively managed. The only reason we need an auctioneer is because people lie or are mistaken. In a world where people did not lie and are not mistaken, Vulcan?, all bidders would agree to who won.
