How to get rid of mold contamination in laminar flow hood?

I have found a mold contamination in our cell culture flasks. After some investigation I have discovered that a laminar flow hood is contaminated with mold spores! Have anyone had such experience before? What can I do to get rid of it? And is it necessary to change the HEPA filter in laminar flow hood?

It would be best, to change the HEPA Filter, since otherwise you can't be shure that you got rid of all the spores and may have a reoccuring problem later on. If it is molding, i would however guess it was due for a change anyway. Otherwise clean it thuroughly with alcohol at least 70 % and follow up with bleach or something similarly effective, since alsohol is not enaugh, to eradicate all spores.
