I'm using a UMAT subroutine to simulate the stress contour around the crack tip. In the UMAT I'm using the deformation gradient. The point is that the deformation gradient that is being passed to UMAT is identity even though I have deformation in the odb file. As a result, I have the contour for the deformation (U) but for stress I have no contours! All of the stress components are zero since the deformation gradient is identity matrix.
Another issue is that when I use the model with J2 theory (without UMAT) I can see the stress contours. So this issue arise when I use UMAT.
Thus, I'm wondering if anyone has face such a problem and can help me to resolve this issue.

Hi Sajjad Izadpanah,
have you enabled the non linear geometry flag in the Abaqus Step to make sure finite strain formulation is used ?
