Hello everyone,

I am currently working on a cell migration study using alginate gel as a substrate. I have been facing difficulties in fixing the gel to the dish. Initially, I tried using glue, but I observed that the gel degrades after being fixed, leaving behind only fragments.

The protocol I used from the paper : Preprint Matrix viscoelasticity controls spatio-temporal tissue organization

I would like to ask if any of you have experience working with alginate gel for cell migration studies and could provide guidance on how to effectively fix the gel to the dish. Additionally, if any of you have worked with viscoelastic substrates for cell migration, I would greatly appreciate any suggestions or insights you may have.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.
