Thomas Baumgartner How is this equ: 8 derived and found to be a good approximation to WHH? I am curious to know as fitting the implicit WHH equation is a pain. How do the parameters in the WHH equn relate to C1 and C2 in eqn 8 in your paper?

Eq. 8 in my paper is not derived, as it is only a fit function. Thus, there is no meaningful relation between its parameters and the parameters used in the derivation of the implicit WHH equation. It is a good approximation because it agrees quite well with the numerical solution of the WHH equation.
