Hello Dipti, batch adsorption study involves the observation of the pollutant concentration in the treated solution after allowing contact time for the adsorbent & the pollutant in the solution. Initally from literature review, you can find the trend of dose for a particular adsorbent. You can then change the contact time keeping the adsorbent dose constant. Then after you get equilibrium time, you can change the dosage of the adsorbent keeping the initial concentration of the pollutant same. Hope this helps.

You can find the ranges of your experiments by changing of one variable and fixing the others until you get the equilibrium test factor. Also, you can make preliminary selecting the range factors from previous studies and then test them at the laboratory.
