I used LAMBDA 1050+ UV/Vis/NIR Spectrophotometer (wavelength measurement range-175 to 3300 nm) to find their optical absorbance for fiber laser processing (wavelength-1064 nm). But when I use FTIR (ATR-Attenuated Total Reflection mode) to find optical absorbance for CO2 laser processing (wavelength-10.6 microns), I could not find the absorbance as in UV/Vis/NiR spectrophotometer.
Need suggestions to find the optical absorbance of metal sheet at 10.6 microns wavelength.
Whether diffuse reflectance mode in FTIR works in this case?
Any other techniques?
