lateral slenderness ratio of compression flange is defined as l/ry where l is the span of the beam and ry is the radius of gyration of compression flange in y direction. can anyone explain me how to find this ratio if the beam dimensions are as follows.
l=span=960 mm
thickness of compression flange= 8mm
width of the beam =125 mm

Om Prakash Chhangani sir, I've referred the cited article and there, the lateral slenderness ratio is defined as l/bf where l is the unrestrained length between the supports and bf as the width of the flange. However, in the following article it is defined as l/ry where l is the span of the beam and ry is the radius of gyration of compression flange in y direction. I want to clarify these two definitions. Your guidance is much appreciated.
