Iam working on 3-D cube element with 8 nodes, i written a matlab code for finding displacement at each node due the application of loading at Top nodes. Now i want to calculate stresses and strains at each node. I have 8-shape functions,stiffness matrix, displacements at each nodal point. Plz give me mathematical expression for calculating stresses and strains at each node(Not for total element).
