During EBSD texture analysis, in the structure generator wizard, the OIM software requires some parameters in order to define a new phase. Among these parameters I have encountered with “Space group” of the new phase which is a crystallographic factor. I am working on Alpha + Beta phase titanium alloys, in the TSL database of OIM, “Space group” of Alpha and Beta phases are predefined, however here is the question that if I want to add new phase or new material which does not exist in database, how should I find the mentioned parameter for the new phase? Is there any “Space group” database for different phases and alloys?
