Hello, I am a 2nd year PhD Candidate in international management, and i am currently in active search for a professor interested in supervising me as part of a grant.My research is about the impact of African banks internationalization on their financial performance. I looked in many american universities websites but couldn't reach any professor with research interests related to my subject.

in order to find the exact professors you should search professors relating to your filed of study, for example based on your topic it is better to look at staff in financial department of universities' website.
You should take advice from your own Univeristy experienced faculty members who are having a good networking in international platform.
You can also search professors in this field via publications. Have a look who are the authors of publications in the area of your interest and then try to contact them. Probably, you will already find a potential supervisor you can contact based on publications. If not, these people may suggest someone whom they know from the field.
I think there are two options: First is- in accordance with your research interest you can search from University website & Second is- You can search research papers in your area, from where you will get the author name and email.
After matching your publication interest with the Professor, you can send mail to them and share your research details with them. If they are interested they will be happy to collaborate with you. All the best
