I have a DLS graph against size classes and number distribution, how can I find out particle size ar zeta size using this data?? should I use any formula? can anybody send me reference paper.
We are using malvern Zetasizer automatically it will analysed the particle size and give you final result along with expert advice. I hope below link may help you.
All the best
Particle size analysis by dynamic light scattering
It sounds as if the particle size data are already obtained and you are simply looking for a way to report them. If the size distribution is already there, then you can use the results typically shown in the Intensity PSD (M) tab, under the Size workspace. The easiest number to report is the overall z-average, and in a monodisperse sample this value would be close to the peak mean of the single peak. In polydisperse samples, the situation gets more complicated, and one can also report widths for the different peaks.
The supernatant will be much smaller than the settled particles. But you may have removed a large mass of your starting material so your effective yield of nanoparticles may be very low.
