Dear all,
I have collected zebrafish eggs after overnight mating of male with female zebrafish. But when I have collected these eggs and incubated in E3 medium for 24 hrs and observed under the microscope, almost all eggs are found to be unfertilized. Pl let me know why this happens? and also let me know what can be done to collect fertilized eggs?
Dear Abusufyan Shaikh from time to time, it happens that you have a whole bunch of bad eggs. If your females did not lay eggs for a long time, their first laying afterwards can be frustrating.

Nevertheless, if you would like to fertilize them yourself in vitro, you might want to read Charlene Walker's chapter
