I have a series of .tar files from SURFEX models that I need to convert and extract in .csv format. But I can't find the correct way to visualize or extract them. Does anyone could help me with it?

Carme Estruch You can take the following procedures to extract values in.csv format from SAFRAN SURFEX data:
1. To retrieve the necessary SAFRAN SURFEX files, extract the.tar files.
2. Open the SAFRAN SURFEX files with CDO (Climate Data Operators) or NCO (NetCDF Operators) software.
3. Convert the SAFRAN SURFEX files to.csv format using CDO or NCO.
4. Save the converted files to the location of your choice.
