I have some AIS data which I've decoded them but now I want to derive a specific ship trajectory from raw data but I don't know where its origin and destination are to figure out its trajectory. I mean I don't know where the ship journey has started and where the ship journey has finished.
In the voyage related date file is the destination mentioned.
If you look in the dynamic information file, there should be also
the navigation status. At the date/time this changed from moored to
underway using engine, the vessel started her voyage from that position
( as mentioned in the dynamic information file)

As addition to the previous answer. AIS format has Navigational status field which includes important information about a point of voyage. Attached description of such status probably could be useful.
