I want to know how to extract the citation of an article from pubmed directly.
For. Eg.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3903903/
i want it in the format
Jit M et al. (2013). Key issues for estimating the impact and cost-effectiveness of seasonal influenza vaccination strategies. Hum Vaccin Immunother. 1;9(4): 834–840.
Is there any way i can extract in this format directly to avoid copy paste error.

Turn expert mode on, and under Web Browser, turn on the Google Scholar tag ready for later.
Switch to using Chrome or Firefox, and search Google Scholar for "Key issues for estimating the impact and cost-effectiveness of seasonal influenza vaccination strategies"
Under "Formats", pick pdf (628K) and save the PDF file in a folder on your hard drive.
Tell Qiqqa to monitor this folder or otherwise Drag and drop the file into a Qiqqa library.
Open the file in your Qiqqa library. Click on "Properties", then "Sniffer".
Highlight the title of the re-found document with your cursor.
Check that Scholar has re-found the right document.
Click on "More" and then "Import into Bibtex".
As desired, this will move the following data into your Qiqqa reference list, without you retyping or even cutting and pasting:

When you are ready later on for writing, start MS Word, and then click on the Qiqqa Scribbling thin pencil button (Cite this document). Pick "Cite this document in Word" as Author (date).
This will insert the shorthand BibTex name into your Word file where you are typing. It will be [ jit2013key ]. This is a temporary place-holder, to be automatically replaced by Jit M et al (2013) later at runtime.
Click on the Incite button. Click on Add Bibliograpy Section. This simply adds «QIQQA_BIBLIOGRAPHY» to your Word file.
Click on Citation Style, and pick your target journal's style from the list.
Click on the Reformat Document magic wand, and all your references will be added to your References Section in your Word document. Also all the temporary place-holders in your text will be updated to show the correct formatting.
This sounds like a long process, but most of the above are configuration steps and need not be done again.
Wont you get it directly from pubmed itself by clicking on the citation.
@Bevin: Yes, but the trouble is, clicking on ncbi.nlm.nih.gov's "Citation" link only gives you the AMA, MLA and APA styles. What if you want to send to a different conference or journal that you perhaps have not yet even identified? Or, as Thirumugam particularly wants, with abbreviated journal titles, year after the authors?
