we are analyzing principal curvatures of a 3D structure using Amira. Based on the help instruction, it can be realized by implementing a built-in function "Image Curvature". After clicking "Apply" button, it produces two files with .curvature* suffix (as shown in the attached picture). Does anyone know how to proceed? For example, to export the distributions of curvatures and to further calculate the principal curvatures?

you are calculating the curvature of the grey-values for all voxels in your image-data.
From the description you gave, I think what you really want to do is to calculate the curvature of the surface of segmented structures. Is that right?
If so, then you could create the surface of your segmented material using "Generate Surface" and use "Curvature" on the resulting surface to determine the local curvature values. For visualisation, you could use "Surface View" for displaying the surface of your material, and you could connect the curvature-data to the "Color Field" port of "Surface view", to colourise the surface according to the local curvature. (Select an appropriate colormap, e.g. "physics".)
