How to estimate uncertainties in values estimated for river morphometric analysis and channel changes using satellite data?

I have estimated various river morphometric parameters using satellite data and DEM for a river basin. Changes in stream parameters such as sinuosity and channel shifts over a period of time was estimated using satellite data. How do we estimate the uncertainties for the measurements derived from satellite data?
