It's going to greatly depend on the brain areas. A lot of early visual and motor processing has already been timed out in mental chronometry studies with TMS and TMS-EEG. These are obviously limited to more cortical areas however. Which brain regions did you have in mind?
The development of concepts of spatial parameters and timing are very important to overall development of a being.Depth perception has been studied by researchers for many years. Classical experiments have indicated that certain factors of depth perception are innate. While movement is critical component of the development of spatial visual relationships, movement is also related to the development of time relationships. Francesco Lomi ouch, there are quite a few muscles in those regions so TMS could be quite painful for a lot of subjects. Maybe single or paired pulses would be tolerable though. This article is a pretty solid overview of TMS in general and has lots of great references: Article The Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) Device and Found...
