Hi, microhardness can be a macroscopic technique which can be useful to determine an average behaviour of your composite because of the area and depth of indents includes a significant number of CNT. However it can be difficult to observe noticeable variations among different samples. I suggest you to use depth sensing indentation to reduce progressively area and depth of the indent and emphasize differences in the elasto-plastic behaviour of the materials (you can find abundant literature in depth sensing indentation and/or nanoindentation). I suggest you to use different loads and to perform AFM on the indent (if available) in order to observe the morphology of the indented area. Best regards, Simone
