How to easily make Shell Coloring or Heatmap or Checkerboard Pattern?

I have hundreds of genes and assigned function for each, many genes in the list performing multiple function, so I have arranged them into 0,1 matrix. I want to make garphical representation of these genes and assocoated function inthe form of image.

Doing mannually, it is very tough job make shell colour one by one..... ANY R-SCRIPT, MATLAB-SCRIPT or ONLINE TOOL ????
