I have an excel sheet with subject information (age, gender, etc.) and some attributes (about 25) for each subject. I want to analyze the data and classify the subjects based on a variety of attributes. Which analysis is best suited to such data, and how should it be carried out? I read here that ANOVA is good in such circumstances, and I ran it on Excel, but I'm not sure how to make conclusions from it. I need some help with this.
If you want to classify each participant based on some attributes, then you need to get the heck out of Excel, which is not a statistics package.
There is no excuse not to install jamovi, which is free and has a cluster analysis module. It also has many other useful modules, excellent graphs and some killer features – your analysis stays hot-linked to your data, so changing your data updates your analysis. And variables that are calculated from other variables likewise automatically update. And you can write up your analysis in the results pane.
But also you need to get help with your project onsite. Reading that ANOVA is good for something is no substitute for having someone who will help you to translate your research question into a data analysis.

Beware, however : Excel has a long history of problems with its statistical routines including producing nonsense results.
