You can do that by UV-Vis diffuse reflectance spectroscopy method. Otherwise, you can take gold coated substrate as reference and measure the UV-Vis with deposited sample.

But gold itself absorb in UV range.

You can use an aluminum mirror as reference, at least when gold becomes transparent. The plasma frequency of aluminum is much higher than that of gold.

Is there any other way to get absolute absorbance of such sample. ?

Thank you for sharing .. I am also trying to investigating the optical properties of gold .. in my opinion .. the thickness of gold (gold thin films) may affect the optical properties of the gold including the transmittance, absorption and reflectance .. thin films gold with thickness of less than 20 nm may also transmit light especially in visible spectrum ..
