Simply, go through a text book on this. I think it is easy to understand.
My reaction is biosorption by green biomass for heavy metals. I have gone through papers but didn't get how to interpret y=mx+c as slope and intercept values with Langmuir and freundlich isotherm for interpretation.@Yurii V Geletii

The so called pseudo-first order (PFO) is actually empirical exponential function (explicit form with respect to q) or logarithmic function (implicit form). In turn, the so called pseudo-second order (PSO) is in fact empirical hyperbolic function. Both are asymptotically increasing function without inflection points. Despite that both functions are q mathematically quite different, for the same parameter values they have in q vs. t coordinate system similar course.
Both functions can be used to describe kinetic curves, but then the distinction between one function and the other can be difficult, especially when we take into account possible measurement errors. First of all, however, it is worth remembering that the values of k1 (PFO) and k2 (PFO) determined on the basis of such a description have no physical meaning.
Graphical methods are better avoided because they usually get falsified results. This is especially true when the range of q changes is small and points close to equilibrium prevail.
Fit it with 1st order, fit it with 2nd order try 1.5 order, 2.5 order even 0 order. Which model fits the data best? Use that one. As with all models caution should be used when extrapolating outside the study data range.
Presentations on YouTube (links above), especially from the point of view of the attached sample data (the range of change in q is small and points close to equilibrium prevail), are a mockery and mislead RG participants. It would be best if the author removed both posts.
