Hello everyone, I'm Vindhya and I'm having some difficulty and need guidance on this project of interfacing instruments like RTO2044 oscilloscope and SMM100A vector signal generator for remote view and interactive control using LabVIEW software. I discovered that by entering the instrument's IP address in a web browser, i can control it in remote mode but I need to interface it using LabVIEW software. The future plans of the project is to automate the laser and microwave setup in LabVIEW for an experimental system. I installed LabVIEW and NI VISA and the package manager. Also got a brief understanding of the connections with the hardware. Please help me in its working procedure of software and basic steps like getting started and installing instrument drivers and its verification and precautions.
