Crop disease/pest can be forecast using available scientific information about an area that what crops grown and what insect pests are common in what environmental conditions. Some insect pest actives in drought conditions and some attack severely in rainy season. Therefore, crop resources also checked and studied before any crop disease/pest forecasting.
Dear Sir, If we have long term year data regarding the pest prevalence data with sufficient weather data we can develop a regression model which will be helpful in future forecasting of pest attack.
Regression model will be helpful in forecasting of stress provided information on crop physiology and data on ET PET,rainfall, humidity, temp etc. is available. Then we can predict soil moisture and other conditions responsible for stress.
