How to do Cellulose acetylation with acetyl chloride?

Hi, I need to synthesize Cellulose diacetate from Paper Cellulose by Acetyl chloride. I tried with cellulose/pyridine/methylene chloride and react with acetyl chloride/pyridine/methylene chloride under heating. But no reaction and even cellulose remained insoluble. Please guide.
