Hello! I am conducting a study having nine major variables. Each variable has its two or three dimensions representing three or four items. only one independent variable has 8 dimensions and each dimension represent three or four items. This variable alone has a total of 40 items representing eight dimensions. And rest of the variables have mostly ten to twelve items and three to four dimensions.

What techniques should i use in analysis (Validity and reliability)? Should I first compute and transform items for the large variables and represent it from dimensions as items (average the items into one dimension, and then represent that dimension as item for analysis)
