I need to know how to calculate internal series resistance for emitter and base contacts and also shunt resistance for solar cell which can be fit into PC1D..
The internal resistance of the base is straight forward. It can be calcualted using the relation Rb= roh x the thicness of the base layer/ area of the solar cell.
The resistance of the emitter is the average lateral resistance of the fingers. Assume the finger length lf, the the resistance will be Re= rohe x haf the distance between two adjacent fingers/ ( the total perimeter of the fingers x the thicness of the emitter layer we x2).
