BTW you could increase the "TOPICS" up top to as many as 15. Find topics with the most "Followers" to get the maximum exposure to your question. This will beget you maximum participation by the "experts" in the RG community.

Seems like the answer to this question is not straightforward. Since the distribution of scattered intensity is influenced by the presence of strain, convolution with beam profile and also can be strongly anisotropic we can not apply approaches like PSD, PRTF, FRC/FSC. From my experience one should consider real space measures for resolution.
For example, if it is known, that there is a step like features in the sample one can apply edge response fitting with error function. It allows to judge about the resolution of edge reconstruction as the upper limit of the whole object resolution.
