I have synthesized poly(methyl metacrylate-co-styrene) for denture base material, then test it with water absorbtion-solubility test. On reference journal, explained that the solubility depends on the polarity of the polymer. the journal only explained polarity of homopolymer but did not explain relation about polarity of copolymer with the solubility.

solubility and polarity mentioned, are not sufficient to describe the problem. Solubility in which solvent(s)? For characterization of solubility/swellability you need to consider at least polar interaction, hydrogen bonding ability (in more detail donor/acceptor) and hydrophobic interactions. The combined effect maybe quantified with Hansen solubility parameters as already mentioned.
