I have a small question about the determination of the degree of the crystallinity of the PLA using XRD.
I have read in few articles that this can be calculated this way: Xc = Area of crystalline peaks / (area of crystalline peak + amorphous region).
The problem is that I´m not very proficient with this technique and I would like to check which are the peaks to integrate.
I have sttached an image of an old XRD pattern – I know that this should not be used to measure the degree of crystallinity since starts at 2thita = 10 and I should had started from an earlier 2thita.

On red are the peaks of “crystalline” domains and on blue the amorphous ones. I think that I just need to sum the areas of the peaks on red and the area on blue and apply the formula. Is that right?
