I am new to study battery.
I made the Li | Cu coin cell.
The Li size is 14 mm diameter and Cu is 16 mm diameter.
If I want to conduct the experiment at 1 mA / cm^2 , which is the right current between 1.54 mA or 2 mA?
And If cathode has 14 mm and anode has 16 mm in diameter, should I use the same current to the above question's answer to get 1 mA / cm^2?

In adition current density is current : surfaca area, so electrodes with the different surface area cannot have the same current density.
Junho Lee In battery cycler you usually are asked to provide current (not current density) and the time of cycling. These together define the capacity you want to plate/stip between Li and Cu, which should be the thing you care about. Based on the area you choose for normalization (Li or Cu), you will get different current densities.
