I knew someone has asked the similar question, but the answer was not clear for me. So, if I have distance from the camera to object (D), focal length (f), pixels length (p), what is the best equation that I can use to determine the object size? I used a prosumer camera that might be caused fewer pixels compared to DSLR.
I tried to use this ratio: D/f=o/p, but the result is too small. *o is object size
