I am not understanding how each author is deriving the equations and the working principle. Individual authors are giving their own working principle explanation for different circuit topology. But how they come up with the working principle?
Is it the simulation first and then explaining the curves logically or the other way around?
I found in some papers where authors are suggesting current flow in reverse direction through a diode! It is puzzling me.
Many authors are leaving out the filter LC equations. They just derive the resonance LC. If I were to implement their circuit what will be the value for filter?
An example picture of resonant ZVS Buck converter is attached.
Current does not go in the reverse direction in the diode, but it does go in the forward direction after the switch is opened. Notice that VD is defined in the opposite direction to VI, and iD goes upwards.
L and C and Lr and Cr do not work as filters because all or most of the stored energy is discharged each half cycle, so the filter equations don't apply.
